This directory does one thing. It tells you which listings the owner actually stands behind, and which ones we pulled off the internet and have never spoken to. That is a smaller promise than most sites make. It is also one we can keep.
What the owner-confirmed badge means
The badge means the owner of that business signed in and confirmed their own contact details. Business name, phone number, service area, email address. That is the whole thing.
Here is what it does not mean:
- It is not a rating. We have not scored anybody.
- It is not a background check. We have not run one.
- It is not proof of insurance. We have not asked for a certificate.
- It is not a review of their work. We have never watched them turn a wrench.
- It is not an endorsement of anybody's repair quality.
A badge tells you the number on the listing is likely to be answered by the person who owns the business, and that they know they are listed here. Nothing more. Anybody who tells you a directory badge means more than that is selling you something.
What an unclaimed listing is
Most listings here are unclaimed. We built them from business information that is already public. We have not called those shops and we have not confirmed anything with them. The phone number may be dead. The service area may have changed. The business may have closed.
We leave them up because a stale listing with a clear warning on it beats a blank page. But treat an unclaimed listing as a starting point for your own checking, not a recommendation.
How to use this directory
- Filter to your city or the one next door. Most mobile mechanics charge for drive time past a certain radius, so closer is usually cheaper.
- Read the service list before you call. A lot of mobile mechanics do not do transmissions, internal engine work, tires, or alignments. Those need a lift.
- Call two or three. Ask for the diagnostic fee and the hourly labor rate up front, and ask whether the diagnostic fee comes off the repair if you go ahead.

What can and cannot happen in your driveway
Fine in a driveway: batteries, starters, alternators, brakes, belts, hoses, water pumps, sensors, ignition coils, spark plugs, oil changes, and diagnostic scans.

Why are some listings marked unclaimed?
Because we built them from public business records and have never spoken to that business. Details may be wrong or out of date. Call and confirm before you rely on anything in an unclaimed listing.
How do I get my listing removed?
Email us from an address tied to the business and we will take it down. We do not charge to remove a listing and we do not ask why.
Do you take a cut of the repair?
No. You call the mechanic, you pay the mechanic. We are not in the transaction and we do not see what you paid.
